Eastern Region workshop of south asian women in media (SAWM)
Women in Media workshop was held in patna at Hotel Maurya on 2nd of december 2011.
the event was to boost up the empowerment of women’s who are in media industry also the seminar/workshop was organised to highlight share the problems and challenges women’s facing in this industry.
Inaugurated by Mr. Nitish Kumar Hon’ble C.M of Bihar wishes women’s who are doing this challenging job in media.
Some women who are running there own news agencies in different medium were appreciated in the workshop and they also shared there views in this field.
with the presence of Chief guest Mr. Parveen Amanullah, Hon’ble Social welfare minister, Bihar and special guest Ms. Nisha Agrawal, CEO, Oxfam India.
Some freshers from media industry and students also participated to gain some knowledge from the experience holders in there industry.
